This year, from Sept 1st - Sept 19th, Cornerstone NCT is participating in Communities Foundation of Texas’ 16th Annual North Texas Giving Day, an online giving extravaganza for the whole region. Our organization provides financial assistance, job assistance, mentoring, coaching, and budget accountability to help our Neighbors in need, and North Texas Giving Day helps us amplify our mission.
During this period, all donations will be matched, doubling the impact of your generosity! The final day to give is Thursday, September 19th, and to celebrate, we’re hosting a fun and interactive Mahjong Night, where you can learn to play this classic game while supporting a great cause! The cost to participate is $125 and includes everything you need to play! Your fee to play will also be doubled by North Texas Giving Day, making your contribution go even further.
With North Texas Giving Day, we’re able to reach more people, engage their passion for our mission, and make an even greater impact. We know that you support the community in many ways, and we can’t think of a better way to amplify that support than by supporting Cornerstone NCT on North Texas Giving Day as a matching fund donor!
We are always looking for people to provide matching funds to meet our goal of $25,000. By matching gifts, you demonstrate your commitment to our cause and region! Also, matching funds will encourage donors to rise to the challenge.
Last year, North Texas Giving Day brought together 3,249 local nonprofits to raise $63.9 million for our community. Special Note: By putting "Mahjong Night" in the notes section of your donation, you’ll be registered to join us at Rollertown on Thursday, 9/19 to learn to play Mahjong. Bring friends or come alone—this night is sure to be a blast, and we hope to make it a monthly tradition! Rollertown will have Jazzy’s Tacos and, of course, drinks, so come prepared to eat, drink, and have fun! (Come early to grab a bite to eat before the game starts. The tables will be full of tiles!)
