Based in Collin County, Cornerstone Assistance Network of North Central Texas is a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting our Neighbors in need. We offer temporary financial assistance during difficult times and work closely with individuals to create budgets, set goals, and build lasting relationships. By addressing the root causes of hardship, we empower Neighbors to overcome obstacles and achieve long-term stability. Guided by faith, we strive to turn challenges into opportunities for growth and transformation.
Our Core Programs
Case Management
When Neighbors seek our help, we meet with them face-to-face to understand their story and unique challenges. Our personal approach to case management goes beyond immediate needs, allowing us to uncover the root causes of their situation—not just the surface-level struggles. Sometimes, this takes multiple conversations, but by investing the time to truly listen and assess their needs, we can create a plan that leads to lasting stability and success.
Back-To-School Bash
Our Back to School Bash ensures students in need start the school year with confidence. Partnering with local school districts, we identify those who need support the most and provide them with school-specific supplies, a new backpack, brand-new sneakers, and school spirit wear. By equipping them with the essentials, we help students feel prepared, empowered, and ready to succeed.
Cornerstone Christmas
Cornerstone Christmas brings holiday joy to families in need. Partnering with local schools, we identify those who need the most support and invite them to a special shopping experience—completely free of charge. Parents select four gifts per child, along with a stuffed stocking and a brand-new hoodie. Families also receive a holiday meal gift card, additional food to sustain them over the Christmas break, and, if needed, a new Christmas tree with decorations. It’s a day filled with hope, dignity, and the magic of the season.
